Accuracy and Reach By HEXAGON Arm Model
This accuracy chart also shows the maximum reach of each HEXAGON arm. These reach values subtract 24 inches (612 mm) from arm length reach to give the scanner reach from end to end on tubes. The distance allows for the scanners to twist back toward the other side of the volume.
The longest reach using a HEXAGON 4.5-meter arm with a 3500 TRAX is 24.3 feet.
The reach using a standard HEXAGON 2.5-meter arm with a 3500 TRAX is 17.7 feet,
