VTube-LASER End Scan Flier Filters
Laser scanners often return rogue points that should not be in the data. We call these fliers. These points are normal, and it is the nature of scanning. VTube-LASER detects and removes them using special filters for both the cylinders and the ends. The basic idea is to reject lone points and keep points in a group that makes sense.
The End Scan Flier Filter is biased toward points that fall inside a perpendicular end zone relative to the tube centerline.
