VTube Update History 4.3 - October 2024

Version 4.3 Build 1680, October 31, 2024

1 - VTube now has a new Coil Generator that can add a coil to the end of the current tube.

The generator is available in the popup menu for the LRA grid of both VTube-STEP and VTube-LASER.

Version 4.3 Build 1679, October 30, 2024

1 - A new Operator field is added to Part Setup in VTube-LASER.

This allows users to record, store, and report their name for the current project.

2 - The Operator field is displayed in the Tube Measure Setup menu next to the measure note field.

This allows users to type their initials or names into the field before measuring.

3 - The PDF autosave After Measured Align event is updated to include more options.

4 - The file naming for the automated fields was enhanced for easier reading in file explorers.

This is an example updated PDF filename structure for the automated naming:

5 - We fixed a bug where VTube would not save a PDF file in autosave unless a report was opened before that event.

Now the PDF report saves even if a report was not previously opened.

Version 4.3 Build 1676, October 26, 2024

1 - VTube-LASER SOLIDWORKS builder now works in non-USA computers that are set up to use commas as decimal points.

2 - Additional enhancements were made to the new LRA corrections data calculations for when the MASTER and MEASURED do not have matching bend radii.

3 - The alignment deviation calculator is enhanced for unusual situations like zero-length straights.

1 - The alignment gear button in the Inspection Data menu now takes the operator to the correct menu.

Version 4.3 Build 1672, October 15, 2024

1 - We found and fixed a Split Bend correction bug.

If you use use Split Bends, then be sure to update to this version.

Version 4.3 Build 1669, October 1, 2024

1 - VTube-LASER no longer changes the Uniscan Type (Cylinder Scan, Diameter Slice, Probe Centerline) in the middle of the measure automatically back to Cylinder Scan.

VTube-LASER now lets the user have complete control of that during measurement.
