VTube Update History 4.4 - August, 2025
Version 4.4 - Build 1884, August 12, 2025
1 - FIXED REPORT TOKEN: <alignment-type>
This token now correctly shows Best Fit Alignment 5 in reports when it is active.
Version 4.4 - Build 1883, August 11, 2025
1 - Four new DCP value report tokens are added to VTube-LASER.
- A customer requested that the new tokens show in reports to prove that VTube-LASER was used properly during tube straight scans.
- These tokens allow users to include the state and laser length value of the Diameter Cut Plane in reports.
- The two labeled "During Measure" will report the last state and value the DCP when scanning a regular tube straight (like UniScan, MultiScan, Corner Profile, or Rectangular).
- VTube-LASER will then store these values in the current VTube project file for recall from previous sessions and reporting in the future.
- The tokens are:
- DiameterCutPlane_ActiveYesNo_Now
- DiameterCutPlane_LaserLength_Now
- DiameterCutPlane_ActiveYesNo_DuringMeasure_TubeStraights
- DiameterCutPlane_LaserLength_DuringMeasure_TubeStraights
Version 4.4 - Build 1882, August 8, 2025
1 - NEW PASS/FAIL ATTRIBUTE ADDED - "AB Length with End Trims" is added.
Menu Location: LASER>Inspection>Pass/Fail Attributes
This allows for including the AB length with hypothetical end trim values as one of the pass/fail qualifiers that influences the pass/fail message in the user interface and reports.
Some customers intentionally bend parts with longer end lengths to trim downstream. They also want to use the single AB length to guarantee that the part is nearly the correct shape. This qualifier also ensures that the end legs are in the tolerance space allotted. In this case, an AB length alone has no value. However, the AB length with hypothetical end trims shows if the part will qualify after it is trimmed.
2 - FIXED the AB LENGTH GRID QUALIFICATION COLORS
Menu Location: LASER>Inspection>Data>Overall Lengths
We discovered that the AB Length DEVIATIONS and OOT values did not show the correct cell color (green or red) when they passed or failed qualification. This has been fixed.
