VTube Update History 4.4 - February 2025
Version 4.4 Build 1778 - February 27, 2025
1 - We added the HMT SVNet protocol that shows the HMT (Horn Machine Tools, Inc.) bender brand for bender communications.
This new protocol represents the Supravision Network that runs on HMT benders using the BendPro control.
Version 4.4 Build 1777 - February 25, 2025
1 - We made important fixes to Best Fit Alignment 5.
The measure tube shape data might not always be properly copied to the aligned data. This build fixes that issue.
Version 4.4 Build 1774 - February 24, 2025
1 - We added the ability to apply LRA default tolerances to VTube project files in any folder structure.
2 - We fixed the OOT report value for bender data lengths.
3 - We fixed the UI update to the Bender Setup user interface after changing the setup in the Benderlink setup grid.
4 - We added more helpful messages for when folder copy and creation errors occur in VTube.
5 - We fixed the report file link to the "Master XYZ + LRA Data.html" report template for the VTube-STEP setup installations.
Version 4.4 Build 1769 - February 15, 2025
1 - We added a command to combine multiple parts into one new part in Assembly Control. This allows for bending multiple parts in one stick.
See this page for more information.
2 - Fixed/changed the Assembly delete command so that it will not attempt to delete the current UI part.
3—We changed the Assembly delete command so that when a part is deleted, the first part is made the UI part, allowing the rest of the parts to be deleted.
4 - Renamed some of the buttons in Assembly Control for clarity.
5 - A new "SECONDARY PROCESS COMPENSATION - Add the Current Corrections to the MASTER data" command is added to VTube-LASER. This command compensates the MASTER data that will anticipate the secondary process deformation of tubes.
See this page for more information.
Version 4.4 Build 1765 - February 11, 2025
1 - The Batch Change the Inspection Data Values menu now allows for the end length tolerances (not the same as the default end length tolerances) to be copied to multiple project files.
2 - The Supravision File Import file dialog allows for the import of file types S2B and B2S.
These are filename extensions commonly used in Supravision network communications.
3 - The Supravision $$$ File Import Options dialog UI checkboxes are updated so that all the empty checkboxes show the same geometric shape.
4 - VTube Tube Data Storage memory handling is improved so that incoming legacy project files with large TDS databases do not continue to use huge amounts of memory in that project session.
Incoming data is converted, and memory is immediately cleared to free up space for other tasks during that session.
